Red Cockaded Woodpecker.........Sweet Little Fellow..............Favors Old Growth Pine Forest........Most Of The Forest Are Gone Now(Logged Out)...............Same As He...........A Few Left, Here And There In The Southeast United States.......About The Size Of A Cardinal, Picoides borealis Now Number Roughly 12,500 Birds In About 5000 Groups.............Threats Beside Lack Of Diverse Old Growth Pine Forest  Include Pesticides And Insecticides, Fire Suppression And Lack Of Wildlife Corridors...............Interestingly, Red Cockadeds' Travel In Family Groups Of Four To Six........There Is Only One Pair Of Breeding Birds And Group Members Incubate The Eggs(Laid In Cavities Of Pine With Decayed Heartwood)............Can Take Up To Three Years To Build........What A Lesson We Should Learn From These Wonderful Little Birds......They Can Be Saved...........Pretty Simple.........Save The Remaining Trees, Save An Entire Species, Save Ourselves

The Florida Everglades, One Of The Largest Wetlands In The World, Now Comprise 1,500,000 Acres(Fortunately, In The Form Of A National Park), Half Of Its' Original 3 Million Acres............Farming And Water Conservation Areas Devastated The Northern Half While At The Same Time Polluting The Existing Southern Half With Runoff And Depriving It Of Sufficient Water.......Currently, There Are 51 Endangered  Plant And Animal Species And 20 Threatened Species Residing In The Everglades.................With Mangrove Forest, Fresh And Saltwater Ecosystems And Prairie, This Sub Tropical Wilderness Houses 600 Animal Species, 300 Bird Species, 1000 Varieties Of Plants And 120 Varieties Of Trees...........Slowly, The Everglades Are Dying........Five Acres Of Everglades Die Each Day..................Over 90 Percent Of Her Wading Birds Are Gone.............The Florida Everglades, As The Louisiana Coastal Wetlands, Are A National Treasure............It Is No Longer A Matter Of The Interest Of The Few Dictating The Fate Of A Solitary Ecosystem...............No, Now It Is The Entire Planet At Stake

Excellent Movement And Flow Throughout The Month Of October…….Quite A Change In Imagery, Additional Technique(s) As Well As Mental Processes Themselves……..One Is Certain That Importance Of Work Completed Over The Month Lies Probably More In What It Will Contribute To The Future Than Present Significance…………..There Are Many Changes And Many Things To Be Considered Within Those Changes(Not To Mention The Fact That There Are Things Within Them That I Do Not Presently Understand But Feel Strongly About As Far As Their Place In Development)………Several Of The Images Are Quite Lovely And Do Indeed Get To The Source While Others Are Absolutely Chaotic But Possessed Of That Something Which Really Draws One In………..And A Few Even Are Heavily Derivative And A Seeming Regression Of Some Work I Did Years Ago…………..Yet Within Them There Are Subtle Differences As Well As Additions………..Actually, I Guess The Month’s Developments Really Get To The Core Of My Beliefs About Source, Energy, Change And Development……………….That…………………….Energy Of Thought Enters That Stream of Consciousness(And Unconsciousness For That Matter) Which Finds Its’ Way Into The Fabric Of Nature’s Constant And Infinite Evolution
